Happy Holidays 2005

  eric & heidi    2005

Hello Loved ones!  Here is a quick glimpse of our year.

-Feliz navidad! Christmas in Mexico 2004.

-Another year of schooling at K- State.

-Spring break road trip to Chicago& Nauvoo Illinois, Madison Wisconsin, Indiana and St. Louis MO.

-We moved to Miami Beach for the summer (aka Latin America).  We LOVED being in the Spanish ward and living on the beach. Eric worked for an engineering/landscape firm and I took Spanish classes.

On a weekend adventure we found a yard sale on Key Largo where Eric bought a small (very small) sailboat.  I named it Pierre because I thought it was too small to get past the pier.  Eric sailed all summer.  I preferred to watch from the beach.

-I took a trip up the east coast and went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra NY with some Spanish speaking buddies.  We visited Niagara Falls and DC.

-The whole summer went by in a flash. We just missed being struck by the lightening of hurricane Dennis-

-On our trip home we visited St. Augustine FL, Callaway Gardens GA, Auburn AL, New Orleans, Dallas, and Oklahoma City.  I really enjoy seeing new places.

-We have been blessed to welcome foster children into our home.  Tristen and Jacklyn are sisters ages 2 and 13 that live with us.  We love them and have enjoyed the blessings of helping their family.

-Eric is very busy in his program as usual and this Fall I have a huge caseload at work, I am applying to graduate programs in psychology, and taking classes- but even with all the work it has been one of the best seasons of my life.

I am thoroughly enjoying my middle school students.  They make me laugh or cry everyday (usually laugh).  We love Kansas and have developed friendships here that will last forever.

May Peace reign on Earth this Season.
